About

Hogan

This is a commission I completed a while back and I feel quite humble after this testimonial from the client.

"When we lost our dear friend Hogan due to his illness, we immediately wanted to commemorate his memory with a portrait that would hang in an honored location in our home. We searched around our local area in Minnesota, and eventually extended our search worldwide in the hopes of finding an artist that could recapture the heart and soul of our Hogan. We had a further challenge to deal with, and that was due to the fact that we had no perfect picture of our pooch, only a series of mediocre pictures that collectively captured his personality.

We eventually found Terry online and sent her a large number of photos and she was gracious enough to create a composite image and an approach that we knew was exactly how we wanted to remember our best friend. She began work immediately and sent us periodic updates on our commission that were both tantalizing and eagerly awaited.

In the end, we received a package one day at our home in Minnesota that had traveled halfway around the world (in perfect condition). When I opened the package I was absolutely stunned, as the online updates certainly did not do justice to the original artwork we received. Terry not only created a masterpiece that will be treasured forever in my family, she also captured the personality of my lost friend Hogan and brought him back for me one more time. It brought tears to me eyes and now hangs in an honored place in my living room. I cannot thank Terry enough for the wonderful gift she provided my whole family!

Terry is a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to commission her for an artwork."
